Brand Identity & Website Redesign

In the winter of 2024, I was approached by SaunaWealth, an Estonian family-owned business specializing in design/engineering services for custom sauna projects and offering a wide range of sauna-related products through their eCommerce platform, to enhance their online presence with a refreshed brand identity and website redesign.


The primary goal was to modernize the overall aesthetic of the company and it’s website while maintaining the existing structure. This structure includes two website sections: a marketing landing page for learning about the company and requesting custom sauna projects, and an eCommerce platform for purchasing sauna-related products.


With the updated brand identity, we sought to communicate warmth and serenity through a thoughtfully selected color palette and a custom yin-yang-based logo. The design approach was rooted in modern aesthetics, showcased through a dynamic, interactive landing page featuring translucent elements, rounded edges, and a minimalist style to evoke a clean, inviting feel.


A key client requirement was to retain the current internal system, ensuring the website continued to run on WordPress with WooCommerce and WoodMart theme powering the eCommerce functionality. This requirement posed an interesting challenge—adapting the page template to align with the new design language while limited by existing customisation options. To achieve this, we used custom JS and CSS to transform the user experience and seamlessly integrate the fresh design within the constraints of the system.
